Understanding Bereve Winding Settings

Every Bereve automatic watch has specific winding requirements determined by its movement caliber. The two key settings are:

  • TPD (turns per day) — the number of rotations per 24 hours. Bereve movements in our database require between 850 TPD.
  • Direction — clockwise (CW), counter-clockwise (CCW), or bidirectional. This depends on the rotor winding mechanism in each caliber.

Using the correct settings ensures your Bereve stays accurately wound without over-stressing the movement. The Time Machine app automatically applies the right profile for your specific model from our database of 4 Bereve references.
